The STS encourages and support schools in the organisation and the execution of engineering technology-days and technology-weeks.
Support offered to schools
- Presentation on the fascination of tunnelling construction (technology, the future outlook)
- Presentation of professions within the tunnelling and underground engineering industry.
- Providing materials for secondary schools, colleges and high-school students
- Arranging contact to universities, the Swiss construction industry and professional associations
- Organization of construction site visits
